Pantone recently announced the bold, new color which it hopes will inspire the world in 2018, Ultra Violet. Pantone describes its 2018 Color of the Year as majestic, mysterious, creatively unique, inspiring, contemplative, meditative, peaceful, and forward thinking. This futuristic hue calls to mind imagery of the heavens, the deepest seas, and our inner-most selves at peace. Ultra Violet, and all of its symbolic meanings and moods, will mark 2018 as a year of inspiration and, at City Line Florist, we have been busy coming up with bold, new designs which feature this year’s color, which is in blossom all around our shop.

Our Majestic Mokaras floral arrangement highlights the Color of the Year in a perfectly elegant bouquet. A base of elegant white hydrangea blooms and fans of chartreuse fern fronds offset stately stems which rise above, dotted with Mokaras orchid blossoms in deep purple. This burst of color rests over an understated square, glass vase filled with violet glass and adorned with a simple monochrome bead embellishment.
