National Friendship Day- Celebrate Friends & Sisters

National Friendship Day

Flowers have a language all their own. For instance, everyone knows that red roses signify romance and passion, and are perfect for your sweetheart. But when you are looking to celebrate your best friend, the yellow rose is your go-to flower. This month, we have two great opportunities to send this beautiful and meaningful bloom. National Friendship Day and National Sisters Day are both are observed on August 6, which makes perfect sense. After all, many of us have sisters who are best friends. And best friends who are more like sisters!

City Line Florist has the yellow rose bouquets and designs that will make her day, and let her know that your life just wouldn’t be the same without her! National Friendship Day

Sisterhood: Experts tell us that growing up with a sister is definitely beneficial to our emotional health. Those with close sister bonds are more content and happier with their lives overall; they are more optimistic and willing to try new things; and they even suffer less mental illness. So even though she drove you crazy growing up, she has definitely earned these flowers!

Friendship: Friends are very important to our social development. When we are very young, they teach us basic social necessities, such as sharing with others and being polite.  As adolescents, our close friends help us to process through romantic relationships. And even as adults, friends are still beneficial, helping us to continually hone priorities and goals.

National Friendship DayWhether you choose from our summer collection or call us to design a bouquet of her favorites – you’ll find the perfect flowers at City Line Florist.
