Encourage Happiness, Share Kindness

kindness “Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”  -Barbara de Angelis

The world could use an extra measure of kindness these days, and on February 17th, we all have an official opportunity to show generosity and goodwill to those around us. Random Acts of Kindness Day may be a day-long event, but City Line Florist believes on being generous throughout the year. From our Petal It Forward campaign to our Community Give Back program, we love showing our friends and neighbors in the Trumbull area how much we love being here. So on February 17th, we are looking forward to participating in your efforts to spread happiness and kindness across our area. kindness
We spend more waking hours in our workplace than nearly any other location, making it the perfect place to start spreading acts of kindness. After all, chances are things can get stressful from time to time. A little kindness spread throughout the office is a great morale boost. How about bringing in a bouquet of mixed flowers to brighten the front desk, or small bud vases with single stems to adorn the desks o each of your co-workers? Send an anonymous dish garden to the receptionist, or leave a box of gourmet treats with a thank-you note for the cleaning crew. Any small gesture could set off a spark of good will throughout the office.

It is amazing to watch the spirit spread when we do something to set the kindness in motion. Whether a bouquet of flowers to an elderly neighbor, or a single rose for your best friend, City Line Florist encourages you to help us keep the generosity flowing through Trumbull, Shelton, and Fairfield – we’ll provide the flowers!
